Running S Homestead

Running S Homestead is a family-owned, first-generation homestead established in 2020. Our mission is to instill in our children the values of self-sufficiency and sustainability—principles we believe are increasingly important, yet often overlooked in today’s fast-paced world. As a family, we are committed to preserving this way of life and passing it on to the next generation.

Like any meaningful journey, homesteading has come with its share of challenges. However, each day brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and refine our practices. While the learning curve has been steep at times, the rewards have proven to be deeply fulfilling and well worth the effort.

Situated on 25 acres, our homestead is home to a diverse range of animals, including chickens, quail, turkeys, pigs, rabbits, and bees. We prioritize providing our animals with safe, spacious environments that support their well-being. In addition, we are expanding into gardening by planting vegetables and fruit trees, with the goal of producing and preserving more of our own food.
